These are Lovely little things. Nice tight a tuneful bass and smooth treble.
For there size they are great. They are excellent with drums. There is something about them i love.

They are ideal for my bedroom system and thats where they are :) There staying there too.

Yes i have read they went bust in the mid 80's which is a great shame. They seem to compete against the LS3/5A and Linn Kan.

Yes, they (he) did a range of BBC themed speakers which were very good indeed but obviously didn't get the backing from the public which they deserved.

They are VERY dynamic for a small design. There sweet spot is the lower bass with a fair amount of punch. They have a cult but its a shame that they wnet out if production.
They need careful positioning with a bit of separation. They are fantastic near field monitors.


They GEM well with my quad amplifiers.

yes , very impressed with hoops (robs') pair , first heard them in bolton(chris') and twice at scalford , and of course stewert whom i believe was on the original design team , very very impressed by what can only be described as tiny boxes

yeh , very very rare seconhand in the european market , koss (the headphone company) 1978 koss cm 1030 top of the range , 26hz to 18,00 khz , very revealing , very very very dynamic , soundstage is huge , but vey natuaral sounding , you know when a song goea whooshing through your head , ewell thats how it sounds , the first pair of speakers i've owned where you can distinguish between baas guitar and bass kick drum :lol:
