Opinions?
All I can comment on is what it looks like.
But I'd rather not because it wouldn't be very complimentary.

look like a super modified ps1? It probably costs £45000 is made from pure unobtainium which makes it the best performing CDP EVERY, well thats what I think.

Ditto, sorry, Greg... You can take the concept of 'over-engineering' too far!

Marco.

Txs Marco

I know it's pretty industrial design ,
not quite your piece of cake ,but ...

Probably sounds superb, though? :)

That's the point.
As a VINYL lover you will appreciate a
proper 1541 implementation, I'm sure.

Marco

Definitely - it's what I use at the moment. Most other CDP/DACs (non-1541 based) sound rather anaemic in comparison! :exactly:

Wouldn't matter what it sounded like, looks like the bastard son of a Dyson vacuum (& I hate them).

It looks like it was designed by a Klingon ;)

It IS a Klingon! Seriously it looks a bit of a dogs whotsits. Are those suspension springs? or do they just wobble?

They are phase inverters for the Klingon Phaser cunningly hidden behind the display... :D

yes ,you right - I hate Dyson vacums as well ;)

Hi ,Dave ,funny thing is that you are not the 1st who went for this comparison, but seriously it is solid industrial design so
as such remains controversial. If you however remind yourself Forsell player from the past, one of the greatest transport I
ever had ,the sculpture shell is similiar. It CDM9Pro and a current Pro2 had been swappable i would be probably still using it.

Hi John . These are springs ,but they are there not for fun. It is one of 3 ways employed in this design to fight vibrations back.
Funny thing is that no one laugh watching wabbling TT , but CDP' s for some reason doesn't have equal rights. Any way as it is
40 kg machine ,and springs resonance value is carefully chosen ,yo need kind of erathquake really to see them wabbling like a
Systemdeck for example.

Yes of course I realise what the springs are for. 40 kilos, doubt I could lift it!

By the way, are the feet standard or an extra? as they look mighty mean.

A good news is the weight is not 40 kg ,but 23kg only ;) one of the results of facelift.
Previous Sarah design on the picture bellow was mentioned 40 kg.
