Jelco SA-750D + Denon DL-110

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for some info on setting up my new Technics SL1210.

I am fairly new to turntables, and as such, I'm not overly sure what I am doing!

I have a DL110 and a Jelco 750D, and as of this moment, they are separate. I would very much like to join them :).

I have only ever aligned a DL-304 to an RB303 on a RP3 turntable. This was pretty easy. However, I don't have a protractor. Which one should I use? I am confused with all the different types out there.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Your going to need an armboard first to fit the jelco to the Technics?

Loads of posts here recently on just that.

Armboards can be found on the auction site or SoundSupports.

That will get them joined :)

Then a search right here in the Techiepedia and depending on the depth of your pockets - literally a ton of posts in the last few days on just that subject.

Luckily the Technics already has a Jelco armboard fitted. All I need to do is install the cartridge.

I'll have a look around for some more info.

Try the alignment protractors from Vinylengine. The standard Baerwald one worked fine for me.

+1 on the Vinylengine protractor. Worked for me too.
