Couple interconnect now sold.
The XLR balanced interconnect and the shielded power cable are both well-made, no nonsense items, as you would expect from Rega.

Main lead is AWESOME with Rega kit, opens the Brio-R right up.
Rega synergy again, these guys know their stuff.

Wonder if it beats any of the high end ones in the context of an all Rega system?

It certainly uses the same cable as some of the megabuck cables.

dunno 'bout that Dave, but it did beat some pretty esoteric company...
surprised by Rega's no nonsense way of doing things AGAIN.

We took the Rega cable apart, MK std copper plug, and a Kaiser IEC..good quality but nowt special.
is it length dependant or summit, fu*d if I can work it out.

Rega have always specialised in good value, sensible Hi-Fi and yes, I have seen the very same cable used in some very expensive mains cables.

The Mark Grant mains cable is similar but heavier gauge by the way (I'm trying to be fair here)..

understood Dave (in a non Rega shiling way :)) but Marks cable was left behind several generations ago.

I just need to get it in my head that Rega know what Rega are doing, don't second guess!
Spent a lot of money and a lot of frustration trying to think better only to come back to where they were originally.

Mibbbay it really is fit n forget, having heard it it works for me.

Got to agree there Gary . The Rega gear ( including the cables ) just works . No fuss , no faffing around , just good quality fit and forget. :) Had a very interesting day at yours today BTW.

It is what is is...

as open minded as the (next) to next guy - and coming from a "bang for yor buck" (i.e. cant afford to throw a lot of money at it) I get VERY selective at what works for me.
fit n forget - really.

Heard better than NV (oops...) ...TAmp for one.

But hey - each to their own.
