Wouldn't say i prefer it but the diablo and tube tech were excellent The AI 300 is a cracking amp and i can't say i feel i'am missing out.
The speakers are very efficent and 9 watts is far more than enough.
Never have it louder than 9 o clock.

Only thing i would like a bit more of is bass.
Never used a sub before so it maybe the way to go.

The AI amps really are a bargain.
The only downside is they look rubbish.
