Hi i just joined the forum as i wanted some info about 1210 upgrades .... Then i noticed you have classifieds so although i dont want you to think i only joined to sell something.... but thought i'd pop it on here before ebay (been on wigwam for a week or so)

Then i can concentrate on raving with you about my new 1210 with mike new bearing and timestep psu :)))

Looking to sell my Inspire Eclipse SE with rega arm board (arm not included) Inspire can supply armboards for most other arms and Bob is very easy to deal with.

PICS BELOW (last 2 pics show it with some other feet which look rather nice. Not included but can be if you like)

The Eclipse is a 5* Hifi World and Hifi Choice winner :)

Rb1000 tonearm and Ortofon Black MM cart are for sale on a seperate thread (£500 / £275)

Turntable is a couple of years old but in excellent condition. Have re oiled the bearing every 6 months or so and looked after it very well :)

The deck was originally £2000 without arm

Also has an upgrade path available to the SEV2 at a later date should you wish.... Heavier platter and improved bearing.... Although i am not convinced it will make a huge difference. You can also buy an external PSU if you want.

Looking for £800 fixed for the deck... price already dropped and its going to ebay otherwise :) Fantastic value for money - with the rb1000 and ortofon black I use it with - it would take a hell of a big budget to better in my humble opinion.

Let me know of any qs - only reason I am selling is because after a couple of years out of the game totally happy with my set up - I have an itch that needs scratching and wanted another 1210!

£700 for a £2k 5 star deck of utmost beauty and sound quality..... Surely someone will take advantage of my impatience and lack of space and money?????

Been to Inspire and heard this TT. A stunning sound, fully british made too.

Any problems, (which is doubtful) I'm sure Bob at Inspire will be more than happy to help.

Times must be tough out there... as its been at £800 for a while and not even a sniff! I paid a hell of a lot more than that for her - and she has kept me blissfully happy.

I don't know what happened - I just went for a little sniff around a couple of forums, and the itch came back! :( I thought I was set for life! But 18 months aint bad!

I actually got my new 1210 from Bob as someone had traded it in... but his buy back price is obviously a bit low as they manufacture themselves and he has to make some money :)
