I have for sale my SL1210 MK2, this is all original and is in very good condition, I have owned this for a year, when I brought the deck it had been in storage for a few years and from what I can tell and how the deck perfrms it has never been DJ'd.

The deck would be ideal for someone starting out that wants a really good player or for someone who likes to do upgrades. I will include in the sale the following items, I also have all of the original packaging.

Shure M75ED Cart
Denon DL 110
Stanton 500
Shure SC35C

1 technics headshell and 1 3rd party headshell

Please note that I want to sell this is a package, I would like £300 this is availble for collection in the West Midlands or I can arrange courier

If anyone is interested then drop me a PM please

I have Marco, its great at what it does but I dont want to go down the upgrade path I never really wanted to in all honesty. If it sells it will give me the money towards a replacement, at the moment it could be the NAS Spacedeck or even something else

Cheers

No worries, dude. Everyone finds their own path in audio. Good luck :)

Indeed, I can always go back if things don't work out, plus I could keep the replacement, sell it later and buy the Monarch Jnr :-)

Nice choice Lee, and one of the only BD turntables I could go back to if I was spending serious(ish) money. :)

If anyone is interested I can do the deck on its own for £220. The DL110 cart is my second one, I had one sent over from a guy on here to try out and was suitably impressed so decided to get hold of another, Im not sure of the life but it plays pretty well and I may decide to keep it hence the price adjustment for the deck on its own.

Bump - I am only selling the deck on its own for the time being, priced at £220, I have decided to hang onto the carts.

Is a p/x against a Space Deck or Ace Space any good for you ?

This'll be a nice winter stop gap to play my records on until I go TT shopping next spring. :)

Thanks. :)

It'll do the job perefectly well for a few months certainly, and still be worth the same next year. :)

No problemo Rob - I'm not 100% sure if it'll be a keeper but I'll put your name on it if I decide to move it on - if so I can always bring it to Scalford for you. :)

Yes, I see you've been making noises elsewhere about getting an old fruit-box....  :eyebrows:

Marco.

Could be a clever (for me anyway) investment.... watch this space. :eyebrows:

Seriously though, if the purchase of Jamie's AO-modded 1210 arm goes through then it may end up staying a little longer. The deck sounds fine as-is, wearing an M75ED (still like this old cartridge despite its slightly woolly-sounding faults) but any mods done will be from used stock. That way if the deck doesn't stay, stuff can be moved on.
