Stylish and elegant

What make is the lamp as I need something to illuminate my TT amp etc

Very nice, Jason. Have you tried covering the glass coffee table when listening? That reflective surface might affect the imaging.

Thanks Al, I didn't know you could get a remote for the I pod I'm quite new to them I just keep constantly getting up:(. I bought the lamp from a shop local to were I live but there is no makers name on it though, they only had the one in the shop too the shop is called Bo-concept:)

Thanks Martin, I was thinking that today while I was listening I was going to move it but it weighs a ton. I'll try covering it when I next listen and update on any differences. Thanks for the tip Martin;)

Jason,
Very nice indeed! The Sugden's are not as well known here in the states, but those in the know think highly of them. I'd love to hear your rig, or kit as it's known in your neck of the woods.
Congrats on a great kit,
Jim

Very nice setup! Clean and stylish and great potential for wonderful sound!

Have you tried bypassing the internal head phone stage in the iPod?
I mean, by AirPlay or taking a digital signal out of the iPod or similar?
I think you'll be surprised what amazing SQ can be had from a iThingy when loaded with proper material, Apple Lossless or WAV/AIFF that is..

Regards /Mike

Hi Mike thanks glad you like it;) I've haven't tried any of the above mate as I wouldn't know were to start:eyebrows: but I will do some reading on google and give it a try sounds like a good way forward for better sound:) Listening at the moment sounds ok but I don't seem to get into it like I did with records so looking forward to finding out how to do what you suggested. Hi guys quick update I tried the system last night removing the coffee table, and it really did make a big difference I'm happy, I'm still waiting for my girlfriend to get some spare time to download some music for me the lossless way. So soon as she as I will update on the differences I'm really looking forward to it.

Cheers

Jason

Thanks Jules they are partington dreadnought. There very good stands and work well I used to have atacama stands but I really noticed a difference with these. They can be filled too I have them filled about half way:)
