Heaven 17

Just seen Heaven 17 at Shepherds Bush. Brilliant! Bits of Human League lots of H17. I have no idea why they are not revered to the heavens.

They played all of the Luxury Gap but then it got interesting- You've lost that loving feeling off Reproduction and then Crow and the Scarecrow i've forgotten off Travelogue, then Party features 2 whatever by the Associates.


They are a seriously underrated band, try playing Faschist Groove Thang and stay still.

Played Japan Quiet Life before- WHAT MORE DO YOU NEED TO SEE THEM!:ner:

I have the 'This Is Mine' 12" and it sounds fantastic. Not a special fan, but they are one of those bands who are particularly underrated, and undeservedly so. 12" singles from the 80's tend to be pressed well and sound great too!

Saw them live "back in the day" and Luxury Gap and Penthouse & Pavement still get a spin now and then - glad you enjoyed the gig. :)
