Help Needed

Hi Guys, my User Name speaks for its self. I’m newly retired. Having been away from the “Hi Fi” scene for some time am looking for suggestions and help. My old system = Marantz 52 Special Edition CD Player, Pioneer A400X, & Tannoy 607’s. Am going over to Headphones only. Someone on another site suggested trying out a Beresford Bushmaster Dac & using the 52SE as a transport which I’m very interested in doing, hence joining this site. I also need a good pair of Headphones. Budget for Headphones approx £250. Music tastes all 60’s 70’s Beatles, Stones, Shads, Dylan, Michel Jarre. If anyone by chance is using the same could they come into the discussion if not could you Guys give me some pointers?

Hi Brian - welcome to AoS. Looks like a great 90's vintage system you've got there - Tannoy sixes seem to be sought after these days, so they must do something right.

As Chris suggests, might be best to start a new thread with your query, and let this thread be for the "hellos" - hello! :wave:
