Anyone heard an Ortofon MC20 Supreme?
Would like to hear any opinion, good or bad :)
Have a 30 and like it very much.

I had an MC 20, but it was sad, old and dragged its undercarriage on warped records.
Sounded pretty fine though, 'smooth and nice' rather than exciting.
I think a good working one is fine and it would be interesting to see how much different the current versions are.
I have a previous MC30 Super, which sounded wishy-washy in an LP12/Ittok of the mid 80's, but far better with a better matched turntable/arm combination, bright and very clear, but with better bass than I heard in the Linn combination :)

How do I know whether a cart I have never heard is going to be a good match with my Stogi arm?

I use an MC20 mkII
Not sure how similar it is to the Supreme.
The MkII's sound is highly detailed, clear and open sounding. It's more polite than exciting. I find the Bass end to be well extended but a little lacking in punch at times...
Overall though... No Nasties...

My MC 30 Super has just died, however I must say it was initially a boring cartridge, until I installed the Albarry MCA 11 head amp, then it showed it's true colours as being a superb cartridge, very musical and tuneful, articulate and exciting.
I assume the MC 30 Supreme is an upgrade from the super, so it has the potential of an excellent cartridge.
