Braun LE1 electrostatic speakers

Has anyone got a pair of these, or heard them?

Only 500 pairs were manufactured, with Quad ESL57 panels and audio transformer and high voltage supply designed by Braun.

I love the late 50's/early 60's Dieter Rams designed Braun equipment..

I don't like the 'LE-1' aesthetics at all..The late 50's 'L2' with 'L01' is more my cuppa..

Very good question. I have never heard one report of an owner. I love my 57's but those Braun units are sweet.
