Valve 12bh7a/12bh7 Croft micro 25rs

In my croft i use 12bh7a valve, in the line stage.
But what is the differents between 12bh7a and 12bh7, and can i use the 12bh7 in the Croft insted of the 12bh7a?
I think of the Brimar 12bh7

All data sheets I can find show identical specs for the '7 and '7a valve.
