Just in case anyone's interested, I am currently listing my Scandyna The Drop speakers on eBay (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/190743101903?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1586.l2649).

Cracking sound and subjectively beautiful looks - with a very high WAF I might add.

If anyone here wins them, I'll knock 10% off the winning price.

I'm based in Long Stratton, Norfolk.

Sorry, my misunderstanding!

Great speakers and would love to buy them, but I don't want to get involved in an auction!

Ebay link site?

You lucky man.
My wife would use the black tops to carry them to the bin

They are different to say the least. WAF is high because they almost don't resemble hi-fi - having said that, my wife liked my Revel M22s, my B&O sticks, my Musical Fidelity MC2s, and my current custom jobs. Actually I think she just likes speakers and hi-fi. Either that or she simply doesn't care!

There's no fixed price for these chaps as I don't know what they're worth to be honest. Whatever they get, they get. The funds will be used for my ribbon tweeters, or a pair of Celestion 3000s or similar. I'm feeling the vintage love and the desire for ribbons. In honesty I'm feeling the vintage love because things are tight at the moment (what with relocation, starting a new business and a new baby).

Feel free to pop in a bid. :)
