Anyone know this one?

Ive got an Akai GX-1820D which I pulled out yesterday,cleaned the heads and made some recordings...still as crystal clear as ever!
Problem: Its got a built in 8 track cartridge player built in and I cant figure out how to work it?:scratch:...Anyone know anything about this great machine?

Don't know this one. I used to mend 8 track machines, you shove the cartridge in and it plays is how it usually works, pull it out and it stops :)

If you want to play 8 Trk cart just select 'cart' on mode selection. You can also record from 8 Trk cart to Reel if you want..Channel selectors for the 8 Trk are to the right..
