Hello!

I'm Simon from York (well, Haxby actually, but no-one's heard of that).

I've been happily ploughing along for a number of years listening to my Quad based system (66/606 + ESL-63 + Meridian 200/263), but the time has come for a bit of...fiddling....

I don't really have the space for the ESL's any more, so I'm thinking it's time to move on to something small and sweet (Harbeth's perhaps?)

Musically, I listen most of the the time to Bach & before (years ago, I wrote an internet "Listener's Guide to the Bach Cantatas, that you can still find with the help of Google). Oh, and the Grateful Dead. They're like Bach really.

I've been lurking for a while, but I've just noticed an advert in Private Exhibitions for someone wanting a pair of LS7t's - and as I have a pair I want to dispose of...time to delurk...

Simon.

I've heard of Haxby - my mate Andrew lives in Huby - will be visiting him next weekend.
