Lucky me, I found a quartet of sequentially-numbered '60's Blackburn Mullard ECL82's - unused in boxes, for a readonable price. Should be just the trick to enliven my Antique Sound Labs Wave 8 monoblocks....

Now, if someone would kindly point me to the Idiot's Guide to Upgrading Wave 8's, I can get started hot-rodding these diminutive but fun amps...

Is it possible to upgrade the transformers? The main downside I found of them was the lack of bass control, possibly down to the very lightweight iron.
My Decware Zen weighed more than both the monoblocks put together!

Hi Cade, I have the circuit diagram for the Wave 8 and can suggest which caps to replace.
The output transformer is shown with split primary windings, has it got unused taps or wires on it? If so the amp could be rewired ultra linear.
