I can do one better than this, my own stupid sat nav was taking me the wrong direction to where I needed to be In Chelsea, having actually gotten me (just) to where I was dropping my daughter, but I needed to find the nearest tube station around the Kings Road, and it was having non of it!
But then my phone rang, and it was my chum and former colleague returning an earlier call, from Florida which I didn't know, and he proceeded to guide me around Chelsea and Sloane Square in particular to find the tube so I could deposit my son there.
He then offered to call me back after I had dropped him off, which he did, and when my stupid sat nav had me going the opposite way I needed, down Chelsea Embankment, he talked me across London, and up to Park Lane and beyond, heading up towards the M1.
All in he was on for over half an hour, so it wasn't a cheap call!
So can I say thanks to my friend, my personal sat nav, Dale Winton!
