"I think the H-1500 is a bargain. I KNOW it is a bargain. It will give anything in its price point a run for the money, not to mention it betters units costing much more. It is by far the best unit I’ve had in my house."

"To put the worthiness of the H-1500 II Plus LCR phono stage into perspective, the only other phono stages I’ve heard that sound better are Allnic’s own H-3000 at roughly twice the price, and the Ypsilon VPS 100 at roughly five times the price."

"I am really bowled over by this (H1500), it has turned my system in to what I truly believe is the best sound I have ever achieved at home and is up there in the top 10 systems I have ever heard anywhere. It has amazing presence and dynamics while still remaining precise and crystal clear, placing sounds sharply in their correct places. Taking the most extreme sounds my system will reproduce (industrial metal and some crazy electronica) it handles the sound with extreme ease and still lays it all out so you can hear each individual part. It is the first time I have heard the texture and inner detail on some background notes of my favourite torture tracks that I take to hifi shows and bake offs."

"With the right recording, acoustic images just float behind your speakers, in a space unconstrained by your room’s physical dimensions."

"This is another area where the H-3000 excels. It has lightening fast micro-dynamics and transients. When you combine this with the bass and mid-bass speed and power, plus its great dynamics, you get a phono preamp with exceptional PRaT. This is a phono preamp that draws you in and makes you tap your feet and everything else music does for me."

"Put the Allnic 3000 in the category of a 'must hear' phono stage. I'm sure the ARC REF, the big Boulder, the Ypsilon, etc. are equally fine, but there is some quality of finesse without hyperdetail that I am getting from the Allnic that is positively unique."

"The H-3000's LCR network has technical advantages, but its pairing with Kang Su Park's circuit design, custom transformers, and tube dampers makes it consequential. The H-3000's performance bears this out, presenting music with rich tonality, lavish dynamic realism and unequalled spatial spread and specificity. "

How much is the Allnic, shown above? I had the great pleasure of listening to one at a friend's house recently, and I can say quite categorically that it's one of the finest phono stages I've ever clapped my lugs on!!

Am I right in saying that it has built-in MC SUTs?

Marco.

I was loaned their rather unusual MC cartridge a couple of years ago - the outer body was a slightly different shape then (needed a very high mass arm).

Hi Marco,

The 3000 comes in at £8395. If you want the Phono equalisation controls for older records then the H3000V (as pictured) is £9695.

And yes, it has a built in pair of Allnic designed MC SUTs. Apparently, both the models work even better in conjunction with the Allnic head amp HA3000 which I hope to have a sample of soon as well.

Thanks, Richard. I better start saving up then! :eyebrows:

Undoubtedly though, the Allnic is a phenomenal device and, IMO, wholeheartedly deserves its price tag, as it represents high-end audio at its best (and true) meaning :exactly:
