Hello.

My name is Adrian. I live in Leicestershire, UK.

I have always been interested in music and hifi since the year dot.

When I was 23 I perforated my ear drum and buying new kit was put on hold.

Now I am a bit older I have found my hearing has improved. I have also found that I find the electronics and DIY aspects interesting.

I still have a lot of my old kit - Systemdek turntable, Cyrus One, Mission 751 speakers and DR3 tape desk.

I still have my Arcam Black Box 2 but this has been heavily modded by Colin Yallop of Chevron Audio. USB input, clock, PSU and NOS etc. I have also fitted an S2 chip. This feeds into a White Noise Audio Headphone amp. I have a mix of cables and power filters.

I have other kit (Sony CDP227esd, Carat Sapphire DAC, Chiarra headphone amp etc) and a wide collection of headphones. I also have few bits of portable kit. I have also bought new stuff (phono amp, Roksan Kandy etc).

Music - 1980s & 1990s and Classical. Boring (say Annie Lennox) and some different (say Natalie Merchant).

Hopefully that is enough.

Hi Adrian, welcome to the forum from me as well :) Nothing wrong with 80s music, I have found myself purchasing a few old classics even recently :eyebrows: Still on the look out for some as well, as long as the price is right ;)
