Hello peep's
I am after a RCA block that can accept say 10 inputs to one output
Intend to build a Cassette player tower to house my decks and only want to use one amp without keep unplugging the different RCA'S
Anyone know what they are called or can point me to a link ?
Thanks :)

I do a 4 into 2 (http://www.beresford.me/products/TC-7240.html). I reckon you can expand that to 10 into 1 by using three of them. But that's an expensive way to go about it .
I can get you a 8 way into 1. But it won't be possible till later in the month when I get my next delivery of DACs from the warehouse. i would have to find out the price for you though. But I don't think it is likely to be more than £50.
PM me if you don't have any luck with finding a 10 way and would like me to find out about the 8 way.

Any suggestions on how to do it alternatively :)

This is the setup diagram of the 8-way I could get for you.

Would work out far cheaper than three of the TC-7240.

No idea on the price. I shall inquire if you want me to. As long as you cover my freight and import duty & VAT that it would add to my regular shipment from the factory you can have it at cost. I shall PM you tomorrow with the figure. But based on my calculation it should be around £50 with delivery to you. It's just a guess though so don't hold me to that. It could be cheaper or a few quid more expensive.

The description is a Audio distribution amplifier ?
Not sure it will do what I require ?
Are you selling it ? If so how much are you asking ?
Cheers :)
Thats why i said it does the reverse to what you want to do its main use to to take one signal and split it to up to 20 amplifers, i guess its what was used before speaker management systems ?
I bought it a while back because i had not seen another one and never used it!
I properly would sell it but not sure what id want for it! which isn't helpful!

The devices shown are all very well, but you're connecting tape decks ........don't you want to record as well? And maybe from one deck to another. You need a proper tape switching unit me old mucker.

Stan,
No commitment but when you've put a price together for this I could be interested so please let me know.

Well the box is ideal but you would need a 10 (or 20) way switch, then rewire it t'other way.

I only need the listening side of things , one of my cassette machines is a twin tape deck model so I can copy tape to tape on that machine , I wont be using the 8 track for recording , I will have a go at recording onto the R2R :)
Is this the switch box you refer to ?
