I own several 1970's quadraphonic systems, my record deck is the Bang & Olufsen 6000 quadraphonic (CD4) with the MMC 6000 quadraphonic (CD4) cartridge. This has played records with SQ & QS encoding very well into either my Marantz 4220 receiver or my Sansui QR1500 receiver.
I recently purchased a JVC CD4 demodulator (new old stock) in order to play CD4 records, however, when I attempt to play the records through either of the two receivers mentioned above, I get a lot of distortion, I have adjusted the demodulator as per instruction manual but to no avail.
Can anyone help please.
