Mine was 'Come Back My Love' by Darts. B side was Naff Off. I still have it now, carefully stored, in alphabetical order, in a wardrobe.

I remember popping to Rumbellows to buy it. 79p.

You never forget the first time...

Indeed! I'll have to ask Mum who bought it for me...

This was mine. 6/3d it cost me.

Listen carefully for an acoustic guitar in the background. That was a bloke who lived round the corner from me, by the name of Jimmy Page. Not that I was aware of that at the time...

Probably 'I feel Love' by Donna Summer. I still have it today (and play it) and it sounds superb!!

The 12" version, in particular, sounds stunning, played on the Techy...

Goodnight... it's an utter impossibility for me to remember the first one I bought, mostly because I had so many before I ever purchased one. My cousins would give me "last year's 45's all the time". If I had to take a stab at it, might have been Abba - Mamma Mia b/w Tropical Loveland. I know I wore that out and none of my cousins would have been into Abba.
