For Joe Bloggs on the street (who wouldn't know quality if it jumped up and bit him on the arse) I can imagine that the Denon USB TT gives fantastic quality results.

From what I've seen of these USB TT types you have to use the bundled software, which generally allows you to save files as MP3 only.

Most peeps here probably have much higher expectations.

I would hope that you're right in that a turntable made by Denon should give better performance than some generic machine. I'm surprised they don't offer a range of file formats and bitrates. There are MP3 freaks out there who would sniff at 192kbps encoded material...
