Why did you ask me for my submission to the Album Club a couple of weks ago, when my rota date is 23 April? :scratch:

Barry - the whole point of the changes is to stop "no shows" - we were having far too many leaving it until the week for people to do their choices. By asking for them upfront we can put them "in the bank" and then we have them safe for when your week comes, without having to hassle you at the last minute and so that hopefully we don't get any "rush jobs" from people who didn't have the time to do them last minute anyway, or just plain said "I'll pass this time" leaving us to then have to sort a reserve.

Can I also ask on behalf of 'him' that people make an effort to ensure their offering follows the accepted format and layout as close as is possible. A reasonable bit of text about the album and why you like it is kind of expected, I think.
No-one minds adding the odd Spotify link for someone who doesn't have an account and adding the correct date to the title is fair enough, but it's not really fair to expect 'Mr Album Club' to do half your post for you.

....or he (apparently) will name and shame.
