Show off!! :ner:
:ner: to you too!
The thread said show us your players :booty:
There's at least one I've missed, because I didn't have a picture to hand, a lovely Sony Pro WM-D3 Martin gave to me.
I did go a bit bonkers for a while, I must admit.
The Eumig and NEAL machines both came from Anthony, a really fantastic gesture. I'd like to get the Eumig serviced as it should sound as good as my Naks, but it doesn't... :)

:hifive: My 'collection' is small fry compared with some I've heard of. I'm just in love with the old engineering and in search of the best sound Cassette has to offer.
The Eumig is an interesting machine, and I would really like to get it working to spec. Here's what Vintage Knob had to say about it:
http://www.thevintageknob.org/eumig-FL-1000.html
The best sounding machines I have are without doubt the Nakamichi's. There's very little between the CR-7 and the ZX-7 (though the latter seems to come up cheaper because they're less well known...)
I have a friend with a modified Technics RS-B965-M (modified by Alex Nikitin of A.N.T. Audio) which sounds every bit as good as my CR-7. Frankly it's remarkable what proper electronics can do to an already excellent transport.

I wish I had hung onto my Aiwa XK-S9000 :(. As far as I am concerned it is the best cassette deck ever made for the home consumer market.

Apparently it sounds great as an analogue machine but I've never heard one to compare. Personally I prefer separate A>D which is why I have my Tascam HD-P2 which is a lovely digital recorder...

I sold my Technics RS-9900 twin-box as it wasn't getting the use it deserved. It was bought by Alex Nikitin so I feel it's gone to one of the best possible homes!
Now, I'm down to one of these: http://beocentral.com/beocord5000-1980s

Cheers Tim.It's actually more than mint it's a machine that was bought in 1979 as a spare but was never ever used. I have a silver version of it aswell. :)

Didn't know there was an SE version. Mine's just standard, I'm intrigued if anyone knows what the difference might be...
