I really HATE shopping FACT :steam:

However on the odd occasion I enjoy it :)

When at the National Audio Show I purchase a few items :eyebrows:

1st up was a set of jel Atacama speaker stand pads

I'd be interested to see if those gel pads make your speakers sound better or worse, taking mine off was one of the best things I did for my system!

Hopefully they'll help your sound out but just beware ;)

Divorced in 2003 after 28 years married , no nooki for me , its the one disadvantage of being your own boss ( single ) , I can live without it easy :D

£350 no lid included ,

From Dave Mains cables are us ( and he carried it all the way to my car in the car park ) :eyebrows:

but you can but a plastic storage container for less that £5 in the market

I found the same thing. Blue tack to a heavy spiked stand filled 50/50 no. 12 lead shot and ultra fine white sand worked best for me. The gel pads made the bass seem loose and disconnected from the rest of the song.

At the moment my stands are empty and the speakers are just sitting loose on top

Re bass , I like it and if it on the recording like to hear it

I always leave my bass and treble controls on neutral on my amp , no upping or downing :)

Will have a play tomorrow if time allows ;)
