Got it last night and gave it a whirl.....its not bad, but not great.Well worth the money as a dac/head amp alone. Wouldn't compare it with £200-400 dacs but as a budget solution to connect to a pc it is great vfm. The headamp manages to drive proper cans and from limited listening surpasses the fiio equivalent sonically.
Well worth £22, even just to keep as a backup...

just ordered one of these of the bay, being sent by royal mail by some one who appears to be living near Shanghai Airport ? some how I think the promised 3 day delivery might be a bit optimistic - still - as I'm only seeing its better than the cheap motherboard based sound "card" in my PC I thought it worth a try

Interesting piece of kit, just been reading up on it. Wonder if theres any value in using this as a usb-optical converter when put between a laptop and a much higher end dac?

well its arrived - well some thing has arrived !!

Took about a week to be posted, so I guess it was shipped from China before being put into UK post. BUT its not in Behringer packaging, the manual looks like a low quality print, the product badge wasnt stuck on properly and there are flaws in the plastic case.

I dont have a genuine one to compare with but this looks to be either a fake or a re-boxed reject

I wonder if it will work

Might not be the real thing which is often a concern with ebay.

Amazon have the UCA202 for £22.47

I know its always a risk but only the second time I have been caught. It sounds better than my sound card so its not a 100% write off but we shall see what the seller can offer.

No point is trying to return it as it was posted by a UK based international shipping agent using a PO box number address

Assume its a fake mate, I bought one of their usb phono stages UFO202 for doing my vinyl rips and it came well packaged in a proper behringer box with the discs of audio software/instruments. The build quality is good for the price and I was able to register the SN with behringer.

The 202 came with several manuals. Packaging and build quality were spot on....Sorry to hear you got a copy....

might be a re-packed second or an unofficial continuation of the production line - the behringer drivers work ok - just installed the latest versions - its sounding very good compared with my sound card.

Taken matters up with the seller see what transpires

Just got another one of these and compared with the esrlier version the text stamped into the case is much more defined. The logo on the sticker matches to the behringer web site logos, the label on the earlier suspected fake version is similar but very clearly different. the screws are black rather than silver and it has a serial number - hope this helps someone at some time

I originall bought it to use with REW (room EQ software), I couldnt get my sound blaster card to work with W10. The second one was to try to use seperate UCA for the mic and output but I couldnt get that to work either. When I am not using it for room EQ it is used on my laptop in my office system. very poorly sited LS4A driven by RA820 its a huge step up on the high end Toshiba laptop sound card. More dynamic with more detail. To be honest I have never tried it playing music on the main system. I will give it go next week some time, direct and via my dac. My last one cost £15 used off ebay - I thoughly recommend it,

I have one of these ( had for quite a long time)

It's better than the built in sound from most PCs, but compared any of my other DACs, it sounds relatively flat and lifeless.

A quick switch between that and say my Schiit Bimby, it's obvious this is no giant killer, the sound is a world apart.

But it does a job in getting better headphone sound at a very low cost.
