Hello,

I'm Joni, from Northern Finland, from the town of Kempele (next to Oulu).
I thought I'd register here after browsing the forums for couple of times: nice conversations and good advice - and most importantly, nice people!

I'm a vinyl listener myself.
Don't have very hi-fi gear, but upgrading whenever my wallet allows.

Music I like is very large scale. I guess mostly into punkrock/rock in general.

Looking forward to some nice conversations here!
Especially, with upgrading my Technics deck.

I visited Finland in early 2010. Though I didn't get as far north as Oulu - I have to say you live in a beautiful country.

We have a few members here who live in Finland, I am sure they will be along to welcome you themselves.

Don't worry about the standard of your gear, it's the music that matters, anyway what you do use seems perfectly good to me. You have definitely come to the right place for advice on upgrading the Technics 1200 turntable.

Glad you liked the beauty of Finland - the only thing I don't like in Finland is the long (about 6 months) and cold winter. Summers are very nice. ;)

You've come to the right place to talk about Technics TTs. BUT what I like to see is a nice cassette deck - a much underrated source!
