Looks good. Make sure the suspension os free to move back and front as well as side to side and vertically with no binding (more of a pain than with the 160's, most of which had cam washers under the springs to aid centring.
Indeed, I have invested no small amount of time in tuning the suspension to get the right bounce - pistonic with a definite quivering movement. It does make a difference. I'll have to retune following sale of tecnoarm and return of TP13a.
That's a really nice job you've done there Philip! It really modernises the look whilst still being sympathetic to the original - excellent work.

despite I might be tempted to make armboard out of some other material than wood. Perhaps something more solid and better damping? One of my friend is manufacturing thick carbon fiber armboard to his Thorens and I'm waiting for the results.. ;)
That's interesting, my own armboard is constructed from 6mm CF.
