North East Bake Off/Social - Any Interest?

As mentioned in another thread by Steve (Floyddroid), is there any interest in a North East based gathering of AoS members?

Seems theres quite a few members now from the good north and I could comfortably host a half dozen or so in my Gateshead abode, if there were loads we might need to think about finding a bigger venue (not a problem as I know of a few local clubs that could probably host us on a quiet night for a small donation).

The aim of the gathering would be social with the emphasis on hearing some good tunes on some nice kit, leave the measuring gear at home. Depending on how many we have each man would get a slot to play his tunes on the gear of his choice, and can mix and match from the bits I have if they want.
