Had my usual firm intentions of testing the Ultimate cable supplied by the lovely DB of this parish MainsCablesarehim
Test powering the PPP, LP12 and Isis CDP *intended*
First we had to watch the Tour of Britain -(Cav what are you doing ?!#@!)
Slight change of usual, current comparing tracks, back to Chavez Ravine,
El U.F.O. Cayo - track 9. If you don't have this - just buy it
CD playing on Rega Isis, Yannis Litz cable into the Naim 82
Stunned surprise as this has never sound so *so* good
Double/double take - I haven't tried the new cable yet.
Kimber silver reference powering the PS Audio PPP swapped for The Ultimate
We still could not get over how good the whole thing sounded.
Swapped a few times.
I thought subtly better, Sally said no difference
Problem was we were totally sideswiped by how good the CD sounded.

Ok tonight we get to comparing. After the Tour of Britain and maybe squeeze in Steve Vai Ultrazone, or maybe we get sideswiped again......
Sometimes the music just has to take precedence over the hifi :)
