View Full Version : Andy Murray
Bollox - there goes Bradley Wiggins' Sports Personality of the Year :(
It was a fantastic win against one tough opponent. Very well done, Andy!

I wish he'd stop looking down at his feet and being generally miserable , but yeah a great win .

Personality? Does Andy Murray have one?
TBH there's too many good sportsmen and women to choose from this year. Usually it's scraping the barrel.
I'd like to see a Paralympian get it - I nominate David Weir . . .

True 'World Class' at last! Brilliant. Wimbledon next year? I hope.
Yup, let's hope indeed. Brilliant win for Murray!
The guy is a class act and a million times better than that tit, Henman, ever was... Let's just hope that when he does eventually win Wimbledon (which he surely will) that the English press and TV pundits acknowledge that he's not only British, but most importantly, SCOTTISH!! ;)

It was a good win, that's for sure.
I've always said with Murray it'll be like buses - wait ages for one, then loads turn up at once. Now he's broken the cycle of losing in big finals (for which he can thank the Olympic gold medal match), I reckon he'll win Wimbledon and the Aussie open too in the next season or so.

Very difficult to pick a winner this year. For me it just HAS to be Wiggins - the feat of winning the Tour de France is just too monumental to ignore - Murray's US Open win doesn't even come close - but I'm not sure Joe Public understands that, to be honest.
The popular vote will probably go to Mo Farah. It would be nice to see David Weir and Sarah Storey at least get nominations.

Nah - when he wins, he's "British tennis ace Andy Murray" - it's only when he loses he's Scottish
I nominate Victoria Pendleton for SoTY. But then, she's just lovely ;)

I'd vote for her and maybe if she could give us a brief tasteful glimpse of her vag :)

Yes, that's the biased English press for you! ;)
