They tend to go more for sparkly platforms these days, they don't bother dropping the suspension, the weight of the bass bin in the boot does that. More likely to be eating donuts with 1 litre corsas

Quite a bit like me really. I have no bother not drinking, but I do like it. Having a beer or so tonight, my first for a few days. Long time since I went a week without a drop.

I agree about the energy level bit, but the not happiness thing. Mind you, I don't drink large quantities these days, getting too old to cope with hangovers. I haven't been properly 'pissed' for a few years. I'd like too, but suffer too much afterwards. :)

Btw, have you tried electronic cigarettes? They worked a treat for Snapper. He still gets a ‘throat hit’ from his electronic ciggy, and the nicotine he needs, but without all the poisons in normal cigarettes - and he tells me he’s saved £30k since he stopped smoking! :eek:

Speak to David about that, as he’s done masses of research on the subject. I don’t believe there are any major health issues. There are small amounts of nicotine in things we eat every day, such as tomatoes, potatoes and aubergines, so not all nicotine is bad, especially when the dosage can be controlled by you (via the juice you vape with E-cigs), rather than a tobacco company.

Tar is the real killer (along with the 1000s of other poisons) inside commercial cigarettes. With E-cigs, you’re getting none of that, but all the satisfaction normal smoking provides for a smoker, including the benefits of reduced blood pressure (as generally, for smokers, smoking acts as a form of relaxation), for those prone to high blood pressure, which in itself is a very bad thing.

One thing’s for certain, it’s much safer (and cheaper) vaping than smoking commercial cigarettes!

Is that a couple of cans every night? If so, have you tried seeing how you feel without drinking 14 cans of beer a week? I’m not saying it will cure your melancholia, as I understand that's derived from elsewhere, but it might help. Alcohol certainly won’t improve the condition, that’s for sure.

Try it for a month and you might be surprised… :)

At the college where Del teaches, it’s full of fatties - and mostly amongst the kids! The trouble is, folk are too busy running around like headless chickens these days, trying to earn a living to support the supposed demands of their children, when all most of them want is your TIME…

So, if for example, more dad’s took their sons to the park for a kick about, as used to happen at one time, than plonking them down in front of the TV or computer, we might not be breeding such a nation of lard arses. More interaction with their parents would also improve the communication and social skills of kids.

Anyway, don’t get me started on this subject, as I could rant for Britain on it!! ;)

Coolio.... Two things, though:

1) You need a (decent) record clamp.
2) You need to disable the strobe light.

Dessert is a fresh lemon and mint posset. Wines will be a chilled white, from Alsace (for the fish pie), and a gorgeous Gigondas, to partner the guinea fowl, followed by a half-bottle of Sauternes, for dessert.
