Just arrived today from Amazon. Not had time to listen too it intently but I'm a little disappointed with the sound quality. It's much better than other Roxy CDs I've heard but not staggering. Yet I've heard lots of people say quality is stunning. Anyone else got it and got thoughts?

I've Got the Remastered, For Your Pleasure Album,, and it Sounds Amazing:)
The box set is great...although the sound quality maybe doesn't sound that good..compared with the HDCD versions which I own it is far better. Nothing staggering but the clarity and richness of sound is there in heaps. You do have to turn up the volume but this is how remasters should be done.

Having listened to Avalon this morning (not my fave Roxy album) I'm going to need a re-evaluation cos it sounds fantastic.

Been listening to this a lot and I've changed my mind. Sounds average until you give the volume some wells and then it really comes to life.

I would say that is a good thing; the man with the buttons did not cave in to the loudness war; as seen with other remastering projects

Couldn't agree more. Best example I've got is the Pink Floyd latest remastered box set. Needs loads of volume but when you get it the music sounds sublime.
