Tom Evans Microgroove X, worth upgrading to Plus?

I have a TE Microgroove X which i am mucho pleased with. I have had a short chat with Tom over the mail and am considering sending the unit to him for an upgrade to the Plus version (Lithos regulators)

Has anyone here tried both versions? Give me some advise please! :rolleyes:

I'm also interested in responses, and I have the Microgroove, and was considering the Plus upgrade as well (and possibly the X, in case I want to fiddle with other cartridges).
