Hello from Belgium Zoersel

Mine name is Yves Van Sanden. I live in Belgium in a small village called Zoersel. First of all my English writing is nearly basic. So I'll probably make a lot of writing mistakes but I hope you don't mind. I think Belgium is most famous for the beers. We really have a lot of beers most of them are strong beers like trapist types or strong blond once like Duvel.

My system: CD player: AMR 77, amp: Leben CS300, speakers Bastanis Matterhorn
loudspeaker cable: Tellirium blue, interlink: AMR standard cable, power cable: Supra Lorad

I like quiet different music styles: Hard Rock (especially of the 70-80) blues, Jazz, some singer songwriters

Belgium is one of my favourite countries, after having had some fantastic holidays in Brugge and Brussels, sampling some of the beers you mention... I love the way that bars serve them in their own individual (rather fancy) glasses - really cool! :cool:

Don't forget about the awesome chocolate and cakes, too! ;)

Hi Yves, welcome to AoS from me as well :) Belgium is one of only two countries I have ever visited & it was for work :eyebrows: However, one of the local chaps at the factory I was working at in Leuven took me out to sample the nightlife on the last of the three days I was there :D

Very hospitable people, loved it in all honesty. Wouldn't hesitate to visit again :)

If you ever return to Belgium feel free to call me. Antwerp is really nice city to visit. I think you guessed it I'm complety new on a forum. I would like to post something about my system but just don't know how to do it. In the gallery I think I post some picture but I'm not sure if this is the place to comment the system. There are a few members interested in Bastanis loudspeakers but there is nothing writing about the Bastanis Matterhorns. I think/hope it will interest some members. Can you help me were to post it?
The latest time it was to bussy for me but now I hope I have some more time to visit the forum. and yes I enjoy it!

sorry it took so long before answering but i went on holidays and when starting to work it was insane bussy? Now i hope i have some more time to visit the forum. I'm complete new on a forum. But i will post some picture of the system and of course the speakers. I really love them. as you can see a vintage rocker tell you something about the age. But now finally after 30 years in audio i found the sound where i was looking for. A lot of systems play's really well on jazz, and vocals or modern music but rock music from the 70's hardly sound like it has to sound. Mostly no botom end and poor dynamics but this system play rock very well. Just played Budgie "If I were Brittania I'd......." sounded just like i wanted. kinde regards Yves

Good to hear from you again - Budgie - now that is a blast from the past ...

The problem with my system is that it has to be able to handle classical and 70's / 80's rock - not sure I have found the perfect balance of abilities yet but I'm working on it!

Looking forward to seeing the photos ...
