View Full Version : Hello from Cambridge
Not sure that I am a sufficient sound buff to qualify being here judging by everyone's equipment list....
Drawn to the forum by the fact that I have a temperamental Leak Troughline 3 valve radio with antenna problems. Other stuff is pretty basic: Aura amp, Rega planet CD player and B&W 601s.
Is there likely to be anyone who can help me work out if the Leak is saveable?
Thanks
Emm
Hi Emm - if you listen to music, you're qualified! ;) Nothing wrong with your kit, anyway - the Aura amps are great (I use one in one of my systems) as is the Rega Planet - I don't think I've heard 601's but B&W make some great speakers. :)
Assuming you do listen to music, what sort do you like?
I can't help on the Leak tuner I'm afraid - suggest you put a new post up, directly appealing for help - more likely to get spotted that way. I'm sure someone will be able to help.
Welcome to AoS and hope you enjoy the forum.
Thanks - I will try putting a post up in the past masters bit.
As for music - mainly classical with a focus on Bach and 20th century. Jazz - through probably mainly the singers and pianists and then anything else that takes my fancy.

Hi Emm, welcome to the forum from me as well :) Nice to see someone from my own neck of the woods joining up here, makes a pleasant change :D
Here's hoping you enjoy your stay & get your tuner sorted, bests to you!
