I,ve just picked up a SR 929 without a stylus. Had hoped for some adwise
regarding what to use. Any responce would be appreciated

Lucky man, How on earth did you manage to source two ! Lovely 'proper' respected vintage dd, one that I've always sneaked a look at on ebay along with the Sony PS 8750 and JVC QL 10. IT looks gorgeous too - Congrats - Stick a 2M Black on it, you wont be dissapointed :)
I love the look of your whole system. I've taken a similar route too - All black, tall and racked up mainly vintage ( Flagship Technics) gear - Great sound and a great look !
