jr149 serial numbers

Just one more questions regarding the JR149. Whilst researching this speaker I've heard that at some point along the development of the speaker Jim Rogers changed from the original KEF B110 and T27 units found in the LS3/5a. Does anyone know at which serial number level this change occured?
