Grand Funk, self titled, 1969 Capitol. Side 2 is raw rock with Paranoid and Inside looking Out. Magic !!! :)

The Moody Blues - Days of Future Passed (Decca's first stereo recording was released as a demo. disc only, to promote
the new Decca Deramic Sound System. Public Demand eventually forced Decca to publicly release it.
It remains the most successful collaboration of group & orchestra).

With the exception of Patti Smith, I don't think I've heard an album as angry as this one.

Surprised Joe Cocker's 69 album "With a little help from my friends" has not been mentioned. The title track made a huge impression on me in my youth as it was so radically different to the established radio playlists at the time...
