New member from the Iberia

Hi, my name is Nuno, almost 32 year old chap, and I'm from Lisbon, Portugal. Been following this forum for a couple of years but never had the need or urge to register, until today.

So... here I am, I'm a big aficionado of vintage equipments, hope to learn a couple of things here and if possible try to help anyone based on my previous experiences.

Hi Mark, thanks for welcome.
To be totally honest I saw a Sansui 217 that I'm desperate to confirm my interest. I know, not the best reason to register after this long time, but a honest one though :doh:

Being a father of twins, sold lots of stuff to fund some other stuff (priorities) but I'm slowly rebuilding my rig so now I have a a couple of vintage tuners (now using a Rotel RT-322), a Marantz PM6003, QUAD CD66 and atm a lovely (and lively!) pair of B&W DM14. Have also a pair of absolutely mint Castle York's stored in the closet waiting for the 2nd rig to be finished.

Hi.

I listen to most sorts of music, ranging from classical all the way to metal which is my personal musical background.

I always liked the melodies from the 70's and 80's, the big voices and tunes when it was possible to sing along with the music without having to learn how to breath properly specially for this :)

When I need to relax a little at night, I also listen to some nice Fado tunes, not all of them since I'm a bit picky about this genre, but there really are some good ones with more melody and just plain shouting.
