Hello all, I have and I'll whisper it, a fully Activ system by Linn:D. Just purchased the SL1200 and using a mint Shure M95ed. I'M AMAZED!!! Sounds great!!!!!! I've had the Rega 3, Linn Axis, LP12, plus a shed load of other decks in the past. Music: from Brahms to Elgar, V.Williams, from Del Shannon to Floyd, listening at the mo to Albarns " Dr, Dee", First Aid Kit; "The Lions Roar", Ren Harvieu; "Through The Night". Rock On.

Hi Terry, welcome to AoS. You've certainly found the right place for all things Techie (http://theartofsound.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=46) - warn your friends and family, once you enter, you could be gone some time! ;)

There'll be no "Linn Bashing" on this forum, so don't you worry about that - well, maybe a little teasing, but we're a broad church, and as long as you come to worship at the altar of music, everyone is welcome with open arms. :)

Hope you enjoy the forum. :)

Hi Terry,
Welcome to AoS.
Don't worry, actually most anti-Linn chatter here is about the company's marketing stradgedy, rather than their products.

Cheers & I hope you enjoy the forum.

Hi Terry, bests to you & I hope you enjoy your stay on here :)

I see Alex has already pointed you in the wallet shrinking direction :rfl: Luckily I don't own a 1200 series TT, won't stop me messing about with what I do own though, at some stage :eyebrows:

Welcome... I for one have shed many a tear for the memory of my old Linn system - gotten rid of fifteen years ago by SWU2BO

She Who Used 2B Obeyed

My colleagues on here are getting sick of me crying into my beer on that one

Enjoy your stay... and I look forward to reading about your decline into SL1200 tweaking!
