Another numptie appeal for advice.

Hi,
I'm awaiting delivery of my 3rd Mini-T amp - one of the originals from China, none of your expensive UK sourced rubbish here :lol: . My intention is to try tri-amping with this one just feeding my ribbon super tweetes and I'm wondering what speaker cable to use - any advice?
I feed my bass units with some 'special' cable purchased some time ago from Custom HiFi Cables and said to be good for bass - I have no reason to doubt that claim but I'm afraid I cannot recommend it specifically because it has now been superceded by something even better.
My treble drivers are fed by pure silver cable and I rather like what they brought to the party. So any reasonably priced suggestions as to what may get the best from the Mini-T and the ribbon super tweeters? - solid or multi strand, OFPC or silver pated, thick or thin??
I will need 2 x 4m (or marginally shorter) lengths to match my other speaker cables.

You're really making the whole thing so complcated Dave, and into 774's as well?

What frequency do the super tweeters come in at? I'd probably go for solid core myself without knowing what your setup sounds like. You used to be able to buy 300 ohm spaced radio antenna cable off the drum and for not much money and for HF duties only, it should be as good as anything else I suspect.

Dave, you may be right but half the fun with this hobby is hearing for yourself. I'm constantly being told that if it sounds good to me it is good full stop :) . The only way I'm going to find out is to do it and listen (like Marconi did a long time ago :lol: - not that I'm (really) comparing myself with Marconi :lol: :lol: ). I'll keep you posted ;) .

What sounds good to me totally depends on my ears at the time, and this changes from day to day and month to month :lol: My ears are the LAST thing I'd trust in all honesty :D

If you and Mrs K don't already do this, I'd recommend regular visits to a local pub with live jazz playing, the raspy live tones being a good leveller for balancing your own stereo I found.
