Wow..... I sure envy his soldering skills :spew: Also note the lack of stuffing, bet they sound "lively"

I found myself wondering whether he might have been more comfortable using a welding torch
I know the kit isn't exactly high end but with a little care and attention they could probably be coaxed into being quite decent little speakers. Of course, care and attention were the two things totally lacking here
Did you notice the pillock built the crossover onto a piece of laminate flooring? Class!!! :rfl:
What if he needs to open the enclosure again. Now where did I put my club hammer?

Notice they didn't check the crossover actually worked before sealing them up.

when he's pushing the back panel on he appears to be squashing the drivers on to the top of the table .....

Love the idea of supergluing tweeters in. That's a good trick, must give it a try!

I thought the best bit was when he glued the top, bottom & sides together
He didn't even make sure they were true & would accept the baffle & back panel :ner:
The glue on the power resistors of the crossover was another classic :eyebrows:
As other have pointed out, they'll be thrown away if the need repairing... Tweeter glued in & bass driver effectively glued in by using mastic to seal it
Idiot :mental:

Some members may not know why you don't glue power resistors.

I don't.
Scary thing is so many people are loving what he's doing judging by the comments.
I noticed that too Martin. In fact the only slightly negative comment I could spot as of yesterday evening concerns his use of a piece of laminate flooring as a mount for the crossover components
