I won't waffle on too much about it as there's a whole, quite long, thread on this very amplifier here: http://www.world-designs.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=5457
This is the original stereo single chassis push-pull version... probably the finest sounding amp that WAD/WD ever made, and that's not just "my" opinion! :)

The 300B's are Electro Harmonix Gold Grid with maybe 500 hours on them.
The 6072 is a 'NOS' GE and has just been replaced.
The 5687 is a 'NOS' JAN Philips and has just been replaced.
The GZ37 is a 'NOS' Mullard CV378 and has just been replaced.
There is also a selection of spare 6072 and 5687 valves (some used, some new) as well as another used Mullard CV378 included, along with a printed copy of the build instructions/manual.
This is an excellent amplifier that sounds as good as just about anything out there, at just about any price, if sensibly partnered with respect to loudspeakers. I used it very happily with Yamaha NS-1000M's for years! I will be sad to see it go but the poor chap is out of it's depth with my new (monstrously inefficient) giant electrostatics.
I'm asking £850 ono.
I would prefer collection or I may be able to deliver up to around 100 miles for fuel costs, alternatively it could be delivered at the buyers cost and risk. Do bear in mind this is likely to be expensive due to it weighing about 30kg, and I would rather send the valves separately.
Viewing/auditioning welcome, please feel free to ask any questions you like.
Cheers,
Mike.
