Good morning gents and gentlewomen -
TAoS newbie Kevin from Hungerford joining up.
My musical tastes are pretty catholic: opera, baroque, symphonic, modern jazz, fusion, rock and, as of yesterday, a new discovery - Yello!
For years I churned the upgrade wheel with ever more solid state horsepower and *revealing* components. Seven years ago I discovered SET amplification and have been settled since. It seems to suit my ears and my tastes rather better. Modest size listening room so AN-Es pressurise sufficiently and everything else is AN too, apart from the vinyl spinner and arm which are Origin Live...but hold an AN IO II cart. Most of it has been bought second-hand.
Am buying much more on vinyl these days than CD, but primarily because I am cheap (see above) and find better musical value there.
