Hi,
My name is Al, based in Jakarta, Indonesia, happy to stumbled into this great forum full of helpful people.
First got into music when I was 7 years old, listening to a Rush bootleg tape, and got hooked on YYZ, Xanadu, etc, and never looked back (saw the band during their Presto tour in 92 in San Diego)
First got the hifi bug when I was looking for some inceiling speakers for my house, but my mistake was I walked into a local Roksan dealer, and ended up buying the Roksan K2 amp + CD, costly mistake J
My kit:
-Amp: Roksan Kandy K2
-CD Player: Roksan Kandy K2
-TT: VPI Scout (2 month backorder L )
- Phono Stage: Croft RIAA (just booked a used but near mint unit this morning, after reading positive feedback from people in this forum about Croft RIAA)
-Cartridge: Ortofon 2M Black
-Speaker: Dali Mentor Menuets
-Listening room a.k.a work room *: 3.5 x 3.5 metre
Music that I listen to: Rush, Iron Maiden, The Clash, Pearl Jam (saw them Columbus 1993), Massive Attack, Tricky, EBTG, Amos Lee, Roy Hargrove, The Editors, old school thrash metal (Anthrax, Testament,Death Angel, etc).
Cheers.
