Hello everyone. I'm a fifty something who has been into music and hifi since my teens.
Kit consists of Michell Gyrodec SE with Roksan Tabriz Zi and Ortofon MC25FL. Fed through a Musical Fidelity X-LPS v3 with MF X-PSU v3 to a MF A3.2 integrated amplifier. My other source is a Roksan Kandy K2 cdp which is a recent acquisition and I now play cd's again. The Roksan is so much better than the Cambridge it replaced, it doesn't shout at me as the CA did. All of this drives a pair of Quad 22L2 floorstanders and I have a pair of Senn HD590s with a MF X-CAN v3. I am fortunate to have a room dedicated to this set up together with my pc and telly for the footie !
As well as the obvious LZ, I mostly play vinyl including Yes, Caravan, Wishbone Ash, Family, Alan Parsons and loads of other 70's and 80's vinyl. I've recently got into Andy Summers (Police) solo jazzy type music on cd. Don't do opera or country and western.
I'm looking forward to contributing to a bit of banter on here. :)
