Lucky me! I got two old turntables for free, a direct drive Dual 606

and a belt-drive Philips AF829.

Both are in good working condition. The plastic base of the Philips is warped though (not the main chassis, just the piece of plastic with the feet that's screwed to the chassis). Has anyone replaced this with, say, a wooden plinth?
The Philips has the standard GP401 cartridge with its original stylus (this was the second turntable of my father-in-law, who must have played all of 10 records on it). The Dual has the original ULM55E, for which I had to buy a new stylus.
